ABOUT THE VENUE

The Province of Nueva Vizcaya is located in the heart of Northern Luzon. It is geographically located at the southernmost part of Region II and is often referred to as the gateway to vast Cagayan Valley Region. It is bounded on the north by Ifugao, in the northeast by Isabela, east by Quirino, west by Benguet and south by Nueva Ecija.

Nueva Vizcaya’s most famous natural attraction is the massive Capisaan Cave System in Kasibu. Be fascinated with the gorgeous robust columns attached to slippery flowstones and stunning stalagmites rising from the floor. The mystic Lion-Alayan Cave System boasts of stalactites and draperies with water gushing towards the underground river system.

Bayombong, the capital of Nueva Vizcaya has a handful of attractions for sightseeing. Visit the bricked-walled 17th century St. Dominic Cathedral with octagonal bell tower. Adjacent to the old church is the People Museum’s Library showcasing the rich heritage of the indigenous groups of Nueva Vizcaya. Also standing proudly in Bayombong is the beautifully-manicured Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Capitol touted as the “Luneta of the North.”

Solano is a first class partially urban municipality in Nueva Vizcaya. It is the main commercial center and financial hub of the province. Within the municipality is Highlander Hotel, one of the newest hotels and a favorite venue for different gatherings. It is located at National Highway Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
